Ilex meserveae 'Blue Maid'

Common name: Blue Maid Holly

Hardy, evergreen holly with spineless leaves which are very dark, blue-green in colour turning slightly purple in winter. Dense growing in habit usually reaching about 2mts in height. Small white flowers in spring followed by heavy, reliable crops of red berries in the autumn. Best grown in full sun in slightly acidic well drained soils.
